Remember that scene in "King of Kong" where Steve Wiebe is trying to set the Donkey Kong record and his kid keeps yelling from offscreen "WIPE MAH BUTT, DADDY!"
Yeah, Michael Patterson is trying to set a record for BAD NOVEL WRITING and also can't be bothered to give his kid a second look. Steve Wiebe, he had an excuse!
That's *so* weird...I was driving home today and spotted Steve Weibe in the car next to me (at 124th and 202), waiting for the light to change. Freaky.
I'm an entertainment editor at MSNBC.com, and have maintained Pop Culture Junk Mail since August, 1999. The New York Times called the site "one of the best places to explore pop culture online," and Entertainment Weekly included it on their Top 100 Web Sites list. If you like weird food, strange products, and 1970s and 1980s nostalgia, PCJM is your home away from home.
I have a brand new BOOK, written with Brian Bellmont. "Whatever Happened to Pudding Pops? The Lost Toys, Tastes and Trends of the '70s and '80s." Buy it online, and follow our retro reminiscing on our GenXtinct blog,Facebook, and Twitter.

I thought "Wipe my butt, Daddy!" was from one of Bill Engvall's CD's?
Jennifer: I don't know Bill Engvall, but you can watch the King of Kong scene I refer to here.
