Strawberry Shortcake already had a renaissance a few years back, but as Jeff at Siftin' points out, apparently the toy line is getting a re-redesign, to be more "fruit forward."

Whatever that means. Even the originals never really smelled like fruit...more like cheap fruit cologne that could never quite cover the smell of the plastic.
