I've been hoping for years now that the Jodi Huisentruit disappearance case would be solved. Her poor family must go on knowing nothing more than they did when she was abducted in 1995.
Apparently she can't have privacy even now. Her diary was taken into evidence after she disappeared, and now someone has sent a copy of it to an Iowa newspaper. They did reproduce some excerpts.

Those excerpts were so sad. Her goals were just heartbreaking to read, knowing she wouldn't attain any of them. My husband grew up in a town near Mason City and said for years they (as kids) would go "looking for Jodi" in the woods and on farms. Sad.
