So Ivanka Trump is shaking up the wedding-gown industry because her dress has sleeves?
Man, fashion is dumb. Sleeveless wedding dresses have been haunting the bridal stores for years now, and people have been wearing them because there is no other choice, even when their arms would perhaps have benefitted from being sleeved. So, so stupid. And now one uber-rich bride has some sleeves sewn on and it's like she invented the concept. Hilarious.

I know! My mother and I were just looking at the old photos and admiring the wedding dresses that she and my aunts wore in the 50s and 60s - beautiful creations that all had sleeves! Let's face it: Not everyone's arms are made for sleeveless dresses.
I remember searching high and low till I found a dress with (lace) sleeves for my June wedding, due to my icky arms. It was hard, but I was eventually able to. When I asked my niece why her dress for her October wedding DIDN'T have sleeves, she said just what you did--there AREN'T any. Not just hard to find--they flat-out don't exist.
One more reason to have a dress made, in my opinion. (It can also be a lot cheaper.)
Yup
