My favorite food show host, Guy Fieri, is in my neighborhood shooting at Mike's Chili Parlor.
"Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" was one of those shows that truly got me through the early baby days with Miss Kelly. I love Americana, and seeing all those fun spots around the nation reminded me that some day, she'd be a little less dependent and we could actually take her out to such fun spots with us. It was a beacon in the distance promising easier days ahead.
I still think Mike's Chili is overrated though. Maybe we need to give it another shot.

Mike's Chili IS indeed overrated. It will be interesting to see Fieri sell it.
I freakin love that drive ins show. Makes me crazy hungry everytime. The best part about it, although the food will kill you, is it tends to be homemade and prepared proudly and with a lot of love. GO AMERICA!
