Yum?

I had no idea our area had such a heavy Korean population, but apparently so: Kimchi fridges, with giant FERMENT buttons, are sold at my local Best Buy, along with a sign noting that the store has employees who speak Korean.

Very cool and all, but I had no idea fridges even existed that could ferment things. Other than when I forget and leave the leftovers in the back of the drawer too long...

So...why is the notice about Korean speaking employees in ENGLISH??

Ha! I actually think it's in both. I guess the English is so you can tell your Korean friends? I think it's in Korean above the English.

I've always wondered why "learn how to speak English!" ads are in English...
