Send it off in a letter to yourself

Fascinating bit about the woman who supposedly inspired Steely Dan's "Rikki Don't Lose That Number."

It's confusingly written, though. Did she really graduate from Bard at age 15? And if she was friends with Donald Fagen when he was at Bard, and she was pregnant and married at the time, how old was she then?

More detail is here--apparently she was a young faculty wife. That article goes on to explain why The Dan was so mad at Bard, as expressed in "My Old School." ("California tumbles into the sea, that'll be the day that I go back to Annandale.") But Donald Fagen did go back, in 1985, to accept an honorary degree. And California still hasn't fallen into the sea...
