For BORING

Oh, please tell me that Monday's For Better or For Worse strip is wrapping up the April-on-the-farm storyline, not dooming us to a whole week of her travels home!

I suspect she'll get home and get about a two-panel summary of happenings from Liz. The attempted rape will have been toned down to a fight, Anthony's marriage woes will be all Therese's fault, and then John will mumble something about Blondie.

Why you gotta keep us down on the farm, Lynn?

Amen.

Of course we haven't seen much of Mike the Deanna lately, there's always that option.

Funny they're talking about Blondie, since I mentioned that comic a few FBoFW threads back.

Recently Blondie celebrated its 75th anniversary, so I would think that was the reason Lynn included Blondie in her Sunday comic. I was hoping she'd have made a comment about how Blondie's characters never seem to age (unlike those on FBOFW) but she didn't.

Well, the attempted rape was already downgraded to a "going after", so maybe it will now be just "some unpleasantness"? "A kinda bad day at work"?

And what does she give us?

April travelling home! This is so exciting I might use it as a cure for insomnia.

Also, like the Blondie characters, the FBOFW kids have become mirror images of their folks, only smaller. Liz is not Elly's child, she is her identical twin. Scary.

What's up with this whole "April was on the farm all summer" thing? Did they just skip forward a few months? She's only been gone a few weeks!

Also, was today a lead-in for April to start working with animals or something?

Gael, you aren't kidding. I was confused about some commentary on yesterday (Sunday)'s strip, and it took me a second reading to realize that it was Liz talking to John, not Elly. I guess the lack of bun should have given it away.
