Is this really what Elizabeth of "For Better or For Worse" is teaching those kids?
Forcing them to watch a video on Canada's longest river system? (System? Why not just longest river?) Making them identify which provinces it crosses?
How useful...zzzzz.

The best thing to do is actually bring the kids to that river. You know exposure activities. That's what kids love.
