I am woman, see me fly

Although I don't know her, I'm just a little bit proud that the woman astronaut who went up on the space shuttle Atlantis today is a graduate of my own all-girls high school, Derham Hall in St. Paul.

It's a nice little throwback to the "Free to Be, You and Me" era: Women really can do anything. My school was very female-forward, and it's a neat tribute to that, as well as cool to think that someone who wore the same uniform I did and walked those same halls is now wearing a space suit and about to walk in space. You go, Derham Dollies (really our team name, yes it was).
